The Letters I've written to editors and individuals have been penned because of an extreme desire to change the things that are going on around me that I feel need changing.

In my entire life I have never seen so many things that were amiss, out of alignment, wrong, or ill-conceived. We have either been deceived, led in the wrong direction, or chosen the wrong people to make decisions for us for far too long.

The time has come to voice my opinion on those things that most affect my life and the lives of my children and grandchildren. I need to make a difference and if my common sense approach to life will help affect that change then I must—with all the energy I can muster—do something to affect that change.

A lyric from a song by Alan Parson comes to mind as I try to describe my feelings: "We've let the blindman lead the way to long.”

I hope that reading these letters will open your eyes to the immediate need to do something before we are all too late.
